Louvre sculpture curator acknowledges gallerist’s attribution in survey of the museum’s collection of Italian Renaissance bronzes

Louvre decorative arts curator, Philippe Malgouyres’, 2020 comprehensive catalogue of the extraordinary collection of small Italian Renaissance bronzes in the Louvre, cites Old World Wonders gallerists attribution of a unique bronze relief in the museum’s collection as the workmanship of Bartolomeo Bellano.

The attribution was also agreed upon, via email communication, by former curator of the Skulpturensammlung und Museum fur Byzantinische Kunst Berlin, Volker Krahn.
