An elegant rectangular Dutch mirror framed by a beveled mirror-border mounted in an ebonized wood and repoussé gilt metal frame with scrolled floral, foliate motifs and silhouetted applied corners. The naturally aged spots of de-silvering add a beautiful patina to the glass while the richly ornate character of the frame bestow a lovely sense of antique nobility.  

Condition: Minor splits and small areas of oxidation with some losses to the original gilding.  Altogether, a stable and beautiful piece.
